Flames of Chiffon

“The shifts of Autumn

seep and surge.

Each delicate leaf

turns and glows.

Hardened seeds

begin to sow.

To share the fading light,

veils have thinned.

For sentient beings,

illumination contends-

every silhouette

beckons and bends-

near

flames of chiffon.

In tune,

for all to see-

a sacred heart

reveals-

the radiant sun,

kissing

a darkened moon

to sleep. “
