This piece was completed as a representation of the higher connection within the family unit for the owner of the work. The wood grains and elemental expression of life in stillness and movement portray not only the strength and functionality of roles within the family but also personal identity within an individual. Nature is not apart from human nature, nor is earth without sky. The flow in between is the breath and brilliance of life and our experience of it- in harmonic unity with self and others.
